Asian Games Wrestling- Yogeshwar wins wrestling gold and brings India on top

In Asian Games 2014- The India become succeed to win the gold medal in wrestling this year and it is fourth gold medal for India. The fourth gold medal is brought by the super star wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt where the first medalist was Khusbir kaur who win a gold medal in 20km race walking by clinching a silver as India shot up to ninth in overall standings on the ninth day of 17th Asian Games this year.

Yogeshwar was star player of the day as better his 2006 edition bronze in style with numerous of superb sessions. The India wins several other medals in Asian Games such as: tennis players accounted for three bronze medals, M R Poovamma and Rajiv Arokia won a bronze each in men’s and women’s 400m race respectively while Manju Bala brought another medal for same hue in women’s hammer throw etc. With the addition of several other medals the India has joyful time in Asian Games this year.

While winning several of medals, the India is placed eighth in the table with a collection of four gold medal, five silver and 24 bronze medal. Apart from winning medals, India can look onward to rich tow in the coming days as well with the women boxers are confident of medals in all three weight grouping. The men’s doubles tennis team of Sanam Singh and Saketh Myneni also assured themselves of at least a silver by proceeding to the final.

The Olympic bronze medalist was trailing all through in the semifinal round bout before coming good in the last few seconds to enter in the final round. In the apex conflict, star Yogeshwar dutt conquered Zalimkhan Yusupov of Tajikistan to hopefully pick the gold medal. In previously, Khushbir kaur provided the early spark by winning a medal since she is first Indian women to win the medal in race walking in Asian Games 2014.

With the success of Yogeshwar Dutt the coach Satpal of course was thrilled. He said before the 18 year, Dutt in company with Sushil kumar, the Olympic medalist walked into his akhara to learn his boat. But, when the Sushil become the most decorated Olympians of the country then Dutt continued to live in Sushil’s silhouette. When Sushil won the bronze at the Beijing Olympics, Dutt come back with empty handed. And when he won the bronze four years later in London, his ‘brother’ recovered it with a silver medal. But this doesn’t leave effect to their friendship.
