The most awaited football tournament, FIFA world cup 2022, is just round the corner and the entire globe is buzzing with excitement ahead of its grand opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony is scheduled at around 14:00 GMT before the inaugural fixture kicks off between the host nation Qatar and Ecuador. Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor will host the ceremony on November 20 2022, welcoming all 32 participating nations and their beloved fans.

As of yet, FIFA has not announced the list of confirmed performers for the opening ceremony, but there has been speculation about many global artists. There is an intriguing list of pop stars and celebrities who are expected to showcase their magical performance at the star studded event FIFA world cup 2022.

Bollywood sensation – Nora Fatehi”, the Waka Waka fame – Shakira, American singer Lil Baby and JungKook – the famous singer from South Korea and vocalist of the band BTS, are expected to spread the magic with their exemplary performances.

“Proud to announce that Jung Kook is part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Soundtrack & will perform at the World Cup opening ceremony. Stay tuned!” tweeted BTS’ official Twitter handle.

The opening ceremony will also feature performances from Black Eyed Peas, Colombian singer J Balvin and Nigerian sensation Patoranking. The list of performers for the event has not yet been confirmed by FIFA.
